Paula began her career in radio broadcasting, where she has held a variety of positions, from newsroom assistant, to broadcaster, to national producer. After several years in commercial radio Paula moved to the BBC; and from there to freelance work, working with a variety of national commercial broadcasters throughout the U.K.
Following a move to Toronto, Paula spent 8 years as a Senior Academic Advisor with the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, at York University.
In 2013, Paula joined the School of Creative Industries in a role that combines her vast media experience, with her extensive academic background.
Determined to keep the creative side of her brain functioning, Paula continues to collaborate on a variety of media arts projects; in recent years this has included work on a number of short films, voiceover work, comedy writing, and several media based live events.
Paula holds two degrees from York University, and is currently undertaking a post-grad certificate in Litigation through George Brown, and the Law Society of Upper Canada; while taking courses through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and HarvardX.
